SaferPlaces NB is a program created by the Public Legal Education and Information Service of NB that provides workplaces with information about New Brunswick laws regulating harassment, reporting procedures and legal rights available to victims of workplace sexual harassment.
We offer two different training workshops about workplace sexual harassment – a 2.5 hour workshop for employees, and a 3 hour workshop for managers and employers.
Live training is conducted over ZOOM, based on demand. We can also arrange in-person sessions by request.
To request a workshop, contact us at info@saferplacesnb.ca or call Public Legal Education and Information Service of New Brunswick (PLEIS-NB) at 1-888-236-2444.
Research findings show that women are most likely to experience sexual harassment, while other vulnerable populations such as the LGBTQ2S community are also at risk of being harassed in the workplace and elsewhere.
