Public Legal Education and Information Service of New Brunswick Inc. (PLEIS-NB), is a not-for-profit, charitable organization dedicated to helping the public in New Brunswick know the law. The ultimate goal is to promote access to the justice system for everyone.
The NBHRC was established in 1967 by the Human Rights Act. The Commission provides citizens with an effective way to address complaints of discrimination, educates the public about this process and, importantly, maintains ongoing awareness of the effects of inequality and the fundamental nature of diversity and inclusivity.
As the key stakeholders in this initiative, Public Legal Education and Information Service of New Brunswick (PLEIS-NB) and the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission (NBHRC) are committed to improving access to quality learning related to sexual harassment prevention in the workplace. PLEIS-NB is taking the lead in administering this project.
