the Government of New Brunswick. They are charged with overseeing the implementation and application of four laws:<\/p><ul><li>The New Brunswick <a href=\"https:\/\/laws.gnb.ca\/en\/document\/cs\/O-0.2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Occupational Health and Safety Act<\/a> <em>(The OHS Act);<\/em><\/li><li>The New Brunswick <a href=\"https:\/\/laws.gnb.ca\/en\/document\/cs\/W-13\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Workers\u2019 Compensation Act<\/a><em>; <\/em><\/li><li>The New Brunswick <a href=\"https:\/\/laws.gnb.ca\/en\/document\/cs\/W-14\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission and Workers&#8217; Compensation Appeals Tribunal Act<\/a>; and<\/li><li>The\u00a0New Brunswick <a href=\"https:\/\/laws.gnb.ca\/en\/document\/cs\/F-12.5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Firefighters&#8217; Compensation Act<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The General Regulation 91-191 under the <em>Occupational Health and Safety Act<\/em> contains rules on what an employer needs to have in place for a workplace free of harassment. WorkSafeNB\u2019s main goal is to prevent workplace injuries and occupational disease. \u201cWorkplace injury\u201d includes psychological injuries that result from trauma experienced at work. \u00a0If you are sexually harassed or assaulted at work and experience trauma as a result, please review the application process as you may qualify for WorkSafeNB\u2019s services.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">WorkSafeNB also provides rehabilitation services and compensation benefits when workplace related injuries do occur.\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can see
